Museum Minyan

A lay-led community at Congregation Beth Yeshurun

The Museum Minyan was founded in 1998 as a small egalitarian minyan at Beth Yeshurun.

The Museum Minyan is an egalitarian, family-friendly community rooted in Conservative Jewish tradition. Weekly Shabbat morning and holiday services are lay-led and participatory. We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of Jewish knowledge to join our warm and inclusive community. We encourage everyone who would like, to lead parts of the service.  The Museum Minyan welcomes children in the service. Children also enjoy their own Shabbat Shalom program and then join the congregation to help lead the closing prayers.  Following the service, we join together for a Kiddush lunch with the entire congregation.

We look forward to meeting you!  Shabbat morning services begin at 9:30 and are held in Reiches Hall in the school wing.   For more information, please contact museumminyan@bethyeshurun.org.
